Relationship to Other Documents; Interpretation; Conflict Priority

This Privacy and Publicity Consent Policy (this “Policy”) operates together with the Terms and Conditions and the Official Tournament Rules (collectively, the “Documents”). The following priority applies:

• Privacy, publicity, and personal data-use matters —including collection, use, disclosure, retention, cookies or similar technologies where described, and publicity rights for gamertags, likeness, voice, gameplay, and Tournament-related content—are governed by this Policy.
• Tournament-specific competition matters—such as format, eligibility, prizes, match administration, and Tournament-related dispute resolution—are governed by the Official Tournament Rules.
• General platform, account, and website matters not specific to privacy or publicity are governed by the Terms and Conditions.
• If there is a direct conflict between Documents on the same subject matter, the more specific Document controls over the more general Document.

Substantive publicity and data-processing commitments in Section 10 of the Official Tournament Rules are read together with this Policy; if there is a conflict as to privacy, publicity, or data use, this Policy controls.

Dispute Resolution (Procedures for Privacy-Related Claims)

The substantive rules for resolving disputes about privacy, publicity, or data processing are set forth in this Policy and the Terms and Conditions. Procedures for resolving disputes—including binding arbitration where applicable—follow the Terms and Conditions, which incorporate the JAMS Streamlined Arbitration framework and Hartford County, Connecticut seat described in the Official Tournament Rules for Tournament-related matters, and parallel arbitration terms for Platform-only matters, so that the Documents do not impose conflicting litigation-versus-arbitration requirements.

Information Collected

Organizer collects:

• Registration data: legal name, mailing address, email, date of birth, gamertag, and state of residence.
• Transactional data: payment details for Entry Fees (processed by third-party payment processors).
• Gameplay data: match results, bracket placement, and recorded matches.
• Usage data: log information about visits to the Platform, including IP address, device type, and access times.

Use of Information

• To verify eligibility, administer Tournaments, communicate with Participants, process payments, award prizes, and comply with legal obligations.
• To post brackets, match results, and streams on the Platform and social media.
• To improve services and prevent fraud or abuse.

Disclosure of Information

Publicly: Participant gamertags, bracket positions, and match results may be displayed on the Tournament website, social media, and streams.

Service providers: Payment processors, IT hosting providers, and streaming platforms receive information necessary to perform services on Organizer’s behalf.

Legal compliance: Information may be disclosed when required by law, regulation, or court order.

Data Retention

Organizer retains personal information for as long as necessary to administer Tournaments, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements, then securely deletes or anonymizes the data.

Security

Organizer uses commercially reasonable measures to protect personal information but cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your Choices

• Participants may update their personal information by contacting pickupct@gmail.com.
• Participants may request deletion of non-mandatory personal data, subject to record-keeping requirements.
• Participants may opt out of marketing emails without affecting their participation.

Children’s Privacy

The Tournament is restricted to individuals 18 years of age or older; Organizer does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 and will delete any such information if discovered.

Publicity Release

By participating, you consent to Organizer’s use of your gamertag, likeness, voice, and gameplay for promotional purposes in any media without further compensation, consistent with this Policy and the Official Tournament Rules.

Changes to this Policy

Organizer may update this Policy by posting a revised version. Continued participation constitutes acceptance where permitted by law; material changes will be communicated as required by applicable law.
